ARDSI President Dr. Ahmet Antalyalı says "€1.1 billion grant has been paid to realize investment under 414 projects supported in Isparta so far, which grew into 2.3 billion liras of investment in the economy of the city".
In his address to Isparta 24-25th term MP Recep Özel and his delegation as he welcomed them at ARDSI, Dr. Antalyalı noted that Isparta has had the advantage of considerable investment at EU standards through the grant support by ARDSI since it was founded, providing employment opportunities for thousands of citizens.
President Antalyalı stated that the grant support to Isparta would be continued growingly with the IPARD 3 Programme currently being prepared and planned to be implemented in 2024 and the municipalities would also be included in the grant scheme as part of the rural infrastructure investments.
President Antalyalı cited that 29 projects with signed grant contracts were in evaluation and selection process, to receive 73,5 million liras in grant planned to be effected once the relevant procedures were succcesfully completed.
Mr. Özel, on the other hand, informed President Antalyalı about the latest situation in agriculture, stock breeding, trade, industry and exports in the city sharing the official statistics and voiced the expectations of the producers from ARDSI.
The mayors of the Senirkent and Sütçüler Mr. Kadir Heybeli and Mr. İsmail Yurdabak accompanied the visitors.
