Chairman Azad Ceferov from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited ARDSI President Dr. Ahmet Antalyalı.
During the visit, Mr. Caferov informed Dr. Antalyalı regarding Azerbaijan's agricultural and livestock potential, issues and expectations of farmers, collaboration among Turkic states to explore new markets, sales of insured products, and the establishment of mechanisms for cooperation between Turkish and Azerbaijani farmers, engaging in an exchange of views.
President Antalyalı briefed the visitors about the organizational structure and operation of ARDSI, as well as the investments realized at European Union standards to contribute to national economy. He also stated they would readily partake in all sorts of information exchange and cooperation to contribute to development of the fraternal nation of Azerbaijan.
At the end of the visit, Caferov proposed organizing a joint 'Rural Development Summit' inviting all stakeholders of the sector, including public institutions of both countries, private sector organizations, universities, professional chambers, and non-governmental organizations.
Ziya Ağayev, the Attaché of the Azerbaijan Embassy in Ankara, also attended the visit.
