Deputy Head of EU Delegation to Türkiye, Minister Councellor Jurgis Vilcinskas and his accompanying delegation of deputy ambassadors from 20 EU states visited ARDSI Provincial Coordination Unit in Kars.
During the discussions, ARDSI General Coordinator for Finance Mr. Cihan Karahan and Coordinator Project Monitoring and Control Ms. İlhan Demirkan informed the delegation about the grants ARDSI offered in the rural areas of Kars for 13 years in scope of the IPARD I and IPARD II Programme and replied the questions of deputy ambassadors.
After the discussions, the delegation observed in situ two enterprises operating in the handicrafts (goose feather processing and quilting) and local products (milk processing) sectors, requesting information from the recipients about details. Located in the organized industrial zone, the enterprises have a total investment value of 15 million TL, 9 million liras of which has been paid with ARDSI grants.
