“The Country Strategy and Programme Evaluations (CSPE) Workshop” was organized in Ankara to discuss the operations carried out by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in the Republic of Türkiye.
Inaugurated with the address of the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Dr. Ahmet Bağcı, the workshop served to discuss the IFAD 2023 operations in Türkiye alongside the findings and recommendations in the CSPE Report, followed by an exchange of opinions among the participants.
Support to future partnerships between Türkiye and IFAD to promote sustainable rural development is listed among the main objectives of CSPE.
ARDSI President Dr. Ahmet Antalyalı, Associate Vice-President Donal Brown from IFAD Programme Management Department, The Regional Director of the Near East, North Africa and Europe Division (NEN) in IFAD Dina Saleh, Country Director of Türkiye Liam F. Chicca and Director of the Independent Office of Evaluation Indran A. Naidoo participated in the workshop as well as the bureaucrats from the Ministry.
