HIGH-LEVEL DIALOGUE MEETING OF TÜRKİYE AND EUROPEAN UNION

The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, attended the "Türkiye-European Union (EU) High-Level Dialogue Meeting" held in the capital of Belgium, Brussels to discuss agricultural issues.

During the meeting co-chaired by Minister Yumaklı and Mr. Janusz Wojciechowski, the European Commissioner for Agriculture, discussions were held on Türkiye's agriculture and rural development strategies within the framework of its accession process to the EU. The topics covered included food security, enhancing bilateral trade in agricultural production, assessments on the IPARD Programme implemented by ARDSI, and issues related to geographical indications.

Minister Yumaklı responded to journalists' questions, after the meeting. When asked about the IPARD Programme by a reporter, he stated, "We presented the developments in our country in IPARD Programme implementation, which we have continued successfully so far.   

IPARD III Programme to be implemented in 81 provinces

Janusz Wojciechowski announced the good news that the European Commission has made a decision regarding the delegation of authority for the IPARD III Programme.

ARDSI President Dr. Ahmet Antalyalı, expressing satisfaction with the commencement of the IPARD III Programme implementation period, extended his gratitude to Minister Yumaklı and EU officials for their support, during the meeting.

Pursuant to the delegation of authority, the IPARD III Programme will be implemented in all 81 provinces of Türkiye.
