Deputy General Manager Abdurrahman Sherov from AGROBANK, one of the financial institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (ARDSI) with his accompanying delegation.
The parties had a meeting at ARDSI headquarters, during which ARDSI General Coordinator for Finance, Cihan Karahan briefed Mr. Sherov about ARDSI’s organizational structure, the inspiring investments realized at EU standards to contribute to national economy, employment opportunities and the preparatory work of the activities planned for 2024. Additionally, a presentation was delivered covering details ranging from how ARDSI was founded to grant support for entrepreneurs, project application procedures, project cycle, actions for entrepreneur women and young entrepreneurs and the realized payments.
Mr. Sherov stated that Uzbekistan and Türkiye forged ties of cooperation in all fields and their visit to ARDSI served the purpose of exchange of experience as part of their endeavors to promote employment at home.
The meeting ended in mutual agreement of the Uzbek and Turkish sides to sign a cooperation protocol to consolidate the ongoing cooperation further.
