ARDSI President Dr. Ahmet Antalyalı participated in the "54th Conference of the Directors of EU Paying Agencies" organized in Valencia, Spain on 6th - 8th November 2023.
The annual report of the European Court of Auditors concerning the expenditures of the common agricultural policy was presented at the conference. Workshops were held regarding the visual contents obtained through the field tracking system and geographical indications. The technical details of the Annual Performance Report that has been obligatory for all the member states to submit since February 2024 were discussed.
On the other hand, the exchange and re-use of the Integrated Administration and Control Systems (IACS) data was considered and the technical issues relating to awareness-raising about the IACS legislative amendments and information activities for the advanced phases of the project were discussed in deatil.
The conference was ended following the drafting of the outcome report and presentation of the latest situation in IACS quality assessment and the Final Declaration of the 54th Conference of the Directors of EU Paying Agencies.
President Dr. Antalyalı had bilateral meetings with the Directors of Paying Agencies in Poland, Albania, Spain and Austria and shared with them information about ARDSI's activities in Türkiye, as well as exchanging opinions about possible ways of inter-agency cooperation.
